Dr, Ali A Nejat
MBBS, FRACGP, FAMAC
General Practitioner | Skin Cancer & Acupuncture Specialist
Dr Ali is a highly experienced GP with over 21 years in medical practice, both internationally and in Australia. He graduated from Tehran University of Medical Sciences and has been practising in Australia since 2008. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and a Fellow of the Australian Medical Acupuncture College (FAMAC).
Dr Ali’s special interests include preventive medicine, skin cancer diagnosis and surgery, travel medicine, and medical acupuncture.
He began his work in skin cancer medicine in 2009, and has since gained extensive experience in performing excision, flap repair, and skin grafts — especially in delicate areas such as the face, scalp, neck, and lower limbs. He provides full body skin checks, dermoscopy with photographic monitoring, and surgical management of suspicious lesions.
Dr Ali also studied medical acupuncture at Monash University in 2009 and has integrated this approach into his practice for over 15 years, offering patients an additional option for managing chronic pain and musculoskeletal conditions.
His background in orthopaedic surgery, combined with advanced training in dermoscopy and skin cancer medicine, has further refined his surgical technique and attention to detail. Dr Ali is committed to delivering patient-centred care with a focus on both clinical excellence and cosmetic outcomes.
